Before I go any further. I would like to thank Jarrett Karyshyn for his tremendous ability and knowledge in putting my website together and rather quickly I might add. Thank you for helping me get started, your friendship and willingness to help me means alot! 

I am also completely grateful to Barbara Bricker, owner of Small Miracles. Barbara came along side me and designed the most beautiful logo I have ever seen! She has such a gift and talent. I am blessed to have her as a friend! 

Hi! My name is Peggy Beck, I am the owner of the Catering & Event Planning Company, The Joyful Palate. I'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA ... Here we Go Steelers!...and yes I proudly bleed Black & Gold!  I'm married to my best friend Ted Beck, we have been married 20 years, and I can honestly say, I love him more each day than the day before. Professionally, Ted is an Exterminator by day and a realtor by night, as well as my sous chef, food runner, dish washer and roady... see where I am going here???!! He is a man of great character and integrity, humble to the core and keeps our life balanced. 

One of my most treasured friends asked me to read a book called  "Wisdom Hunter" by Randall Arthur. The book ends with a quote that transformed my life; "Let God have your life, Let wisdom guide your life, Let people be your life."  After reading the book,  I realized that we all have a purpose and should do what we are gifted and talented to do...Since I adore cooking and serving people what better way to live my life! Only I can decide how I want to live out my life and it is my desire to use The Joyful Palate to not only enhance my life but to enhance yours as well.
